Campaign Objective

AIRLESS GEN 1 LAUNCH CAMPAIGN | 4X CLIO AWARD WINNER

After sending shockwaves throughout the basketball world during the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend— Wilson unveiled the first ever 3D printed basketball, the Airless Gen1 Basketball protype. To mark the anniversary, Wilson decided to make the Airless Gen 1 Basketball available for consumers during the 2024 All Star Weekend.

This revolutionary basketball, the world's first 3D printed, demanded a launch campaign that reflected its groundbreaking innovation.

Partnering with Woodwork, we crafted a hero film that captured the essence of this new era in sports, showcasing the ball's laser-sintered creation and innovative 3D printed design. Set against a backdrop of celestial events, the film highlights the futuristic allure of the Airless Gen1, emphasizing its advanced technology, futurism and pushing the boundaries of sports equipment design.

This project aimed to create a sense of wonder and excitement around the launch, solidifying the Airless Gen1 as a symbol of innovation and further establishing Wilsons dominance in the world of sports and innovation.
